The Kenai Nordic Club has its annual Black Stone Axe Ridge Rally on Saturday, Dec. 9, with ski lessons for all ages, followed by a community ski race. Proceeds benefit the Kenai Central High School ski team.

Ski lessons are from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by hot chili and cocoa.
A community ski race starts at 12:30 p.m.

Registration price includes ski lessons and race entry:
$15 for TTA Members
$20 for non-TTA Members
$45 for a family (up to four people)

Registration will be refunded if the event is canceled due to low snow. Watch the Tsalteshi Facebook page for cancellation updates.

"Tsalteshi," meaning "Black Stone Axe Ridge," is the Dena'ina name for the hillside on which Tsalteshi sits
